That’s why I’m wary of some high paying companies like that. Like Walmart’s pay and benefits are second to none, but look at all the rules and regulations they have. Plus you’re slip seating, which is a dealbreaker for me

Don't worry, K&B has never been on my list cause I don't find recaps and relays appealing EVERY week lol.

That video was made before ELD's were even mandated so most were running harder, and he made a video a year later talking about how drivers can make money on ELD if they 'sit in the drivers seat and keep their door closed'. He himself wants to tell people to suck it up if they want money on ELD, but he can't do it himself lol.

#RunHardGetPaid except when he's a little sleepy from the sugar crash of chugging a red bull instead of black coffee and a water.

Plenty of jobs that pay more than OTR reefer, have better working hours, and probably get home more. Why sign up for it if it's not for you? We might be dumb for signing up for OTR reefer and 'getting whipped', but we knew what we were getting into

@BigSean416 is probably pretty busy replying to all the reviews on indeed, google and other sites. It’s pretty bad when K&B has recruiters replying to all bad reviews attempting to do damage control.

I've seen other videos from that guy an I was left with the impression that he had moved on to a different line of work outside of trucking. This game an all it's ups an downs aren't for everyone. An I personally would rather be back on paper. My preference tho. Looked at an old 96 fld 120 the other day. 48 inch flat top with a 9 spd 60 series Detroit. Was only at 365 horse so it'd have to be turned up some. I could get it for 30k. I honestly thought about it. I could pull the hopper around mostly local or run an be home weekends an do it old school.

As I said before K&B does make you install an app that locks your phone out while driving. I'm not too happy about it either but thats just how it works.

Any company that demands someone to download an app like that on something they dont pay for, well they would know exactly where to put it..

More nanny babysitting garbage. Sorry but if the company doesn't trust you to drive the equipment than they shouldn't be a hiring ya. JMO.

Do they pay their driver’s phone bill, too? Otherwise they can stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.
You’ve probably never used it anyways, neither have any of the other office people. How many years have you been driving? What companies were you at before kibbles & bits?

48Packard, Rugerfan, merv85 and 2 others Thank this.

My last job was for an industrial contractor but before that I drove for HR Ewell and I liked them too so I guess I was also a recruiter there too.

Old school trucks definitely have their pros. I wish I was older and could have enjoyed the series 60 years lol. Paper logs would be nice as well.
