What pilot did to it was close the original fuel pumps and taken out 6 six rows of truck parking to put in different fuel pumps..it’s a cluster now because of that garbage

When a chain buys an independent unless there are already plenty of fuel lanes they really have no choice but to make changes because they will be selling a higher volume of fuel than the previous owner. I don’t know what the Giant had but there has to be 10 or more fuel lanes now and they still get stacked up 2 or more deep. With the chains comes the corporate fueling and often that’s more traffic than the old set up would allow.

I used to hate going into that place in Raphine; it was packed 24/7. In fact, that whole stretch of I-81 from about Raphine to the middle of Tennessee was terrible; the few truckstops were always packed, as were the rest areas, and the state troopers wouldn't allow you to sleep in them. I used to avoid taking I-81...
