Fmr Winslow az truck stop now becoming a one 9

That was an independent, then a Pilot, then a Pride when Pilot and FJ merged, then abandoned for a time...what's a One 9? Are they a chain?

 

One9 is Pilot Flying J's new brand for older Pilot truck stops that offer less amenities than newer Pilot facilities.

 

No more, they put up those 13' bars across the entrances and it is heavily marked, "NO TRUCKS"

 

Watch those drivers that want to park at Walmart find out where the entrance is for the Walmart trucks and those making the deliveries enter. After all those trailers are 13'6" so there is a way in if they want to look for it. I imagine that the tow trucks will be busy.

 

That’s only a problem for some of y’all. I’m only 11’6” tall.

 

I've seen a few brand new One9 locations being built, so it isn't just the older Peelots being renamed. By what I read about them when they first started appearing, they are geared more towards the O/O side of things. Less of a travel center for the general public and more of a mid-sized fuel stop with parking.

 

Now, don't complain when A-1 out of Memphis shows up to boot your truck and tow it away.

 

Hopefully I can be apart of the eventual class action lawsuit.
