    I hate gravel in all its forms. My driveway was gravel when I moved here. Trying to shovel snow on gravel dosent work very well.

Plus @JoeyJunk i got cheese and cheese curds. I have therefor completed my obligations to Wisconsin regarding cheese. Pics will be posted later. Need a nap after lunch. But here’s one

    Hung up pretty good.. BUT; in another piece on this, That white edge sign behind the STOP..Says Load limit 20 tons. Hope he does not fall thru before they snake him out.

    In West Point, MS; about 1950, a grain job turned off US 45 A; left on Bugg St, to go over to the Gin and Ice House to get weighed. Customary to load corn in IL, scoop off estimated amount at a delivery, then run over to the Gin to weigh, then collect on the sale. Weigh scale load in IL, drop 1/4 to 1/2, then weigh, collect and go on to next.
    This guy had arrived and the receiving farmer would not accept his IL weigh out, wanted a MS weight here, then do business. So the driver goes to do that.
    Old SA tractor, wood stake sided tandem, 36" grain sides, tailgate of separate 2 x 6, with one cut/hinged for first access. Common grain job at the time...
    So he cuts across on Bugg St, hits the old wooden bridge over the creek, gets tractor across to solid ground, tandem drops its weight on the bridge middle.
    COLLAPSE.... Tandem drops, boards give, and XXX bushels of shelled corn empties out like a rounded bottom end dump....

    No sweat. Goat Ellis hooked his old shop made Ford wrecker to him, empty trailer climbed smoothly up his side half of the bridge. Corn washed downstream.

    They had been coming in, unloading some, then weigh. So all had crossed many times in the past. Corn grew well broadcast for years on down past the RR track area on US 45A. You want to see the street? Approaching WP, between Tin Lizzie truck stop, and the MS 50 traffic light... Keep looking on left side for big steel building end, and Bugg St sign. A glance down it would show you the new well constructed bridge...

    Just wait until you’re following a farmer’s directions in Louisiana and you come up to a pontoon bridge that says “Absolutely NO Trucks!”

    nowhere to go down a crooked farm road and the bridge is 30 gallon plastic barrels tied together with a board where tires go.

    You call and they say cmon we do it all the time.

    One end raises other end sinks, and your partially in water , then truck is off and trailer sinks it down, and there’s a ton of waves, then you load and drive back across.
