This sounds so untrue, I’ve worked out everything all my expenses and averaged how many miles I can take a week. It averages out to $3500-5000 a month, how is this eating not profitable?

How? It’s a legitimate question to base a business plan off of until I can hire a sales team to find me contracts.

So is 50 trucks realistic to get their freight for them off a load board? I’ll have dispatchers working for me as well just want to make sure theirs enough freight on the load boards to cover the trucks all week long.

You're doing it completely backwards. Sell your services FIRST then buy the equipment you need to satisfy your customer's need. You will not be profitable running 50 trucks hauling left over or crap loads found on loadboards. Employees are expensive and keeping them around is almost as hard as finding a contracted customer. That's an entire subject in itself.

All the best contracts are looking for someone absolutely green and unproven.

Try hiring just ONE good employee. Sounds easy, Not so much
