    I guess that really showed TQL. A year later (with attorney) they showed the rate.

    With such a large corporation it's easy to take advantage because they can essentially control their own market prices.

    It's like asking Walmart how much they paid for their bananas. Why would they tell you? If it cost too much just don't buy it. Same with broker, if the rate isn't enough just don't take it.

    Walmart has a lot more overhead than a dude with a cell phone and load board subscription.

    Doesn't have to be the darkside, go get your own customers and broker the loads and only keep the % you think TQL should. You'll have all the trucks you'll ever need lined up waiting for your loads if you're offering 30% more than the likes of TQL. You're going to have a very rude awakening about how much it actually costs to run something like that.

    Was talking to a driver who was crying about not getting detention and I asked him why did he agree to no accessorials and he said, "if I don't haul it someone else will." That's a loser mentality frankly and a really poor business model.

    He's a perfect example of why spot market sucks so bad. It's only a half step better than running intermodal as a lease operator. He's the dead weight that is ruining the industry and dragging the rest down with him.
