We had a Matlack yard up on Neville Island. A few Matlack tankers sat for years and years.

 

No. Just a weird uncomfortable experience. I even argued a bit. Asked if I looked like the typical scumbag that they deal with.

 

Was already asked if I could pay him Friday, on a load he hasn’t loaded, yet.
“No. you got money coming Friday for the two short loads you hauled last week.”

“Not enough to pay bills.”

“You turned down a load paying almost $900.
maybe you should’ve thought this through.”
