Did you go thru the Shell in York NE this morning?

 

Yes. I got washed at Five Star and stopped for a donut on my way to CB. I saw a truck there yesterday when I ran up to the grocery store but didn’t know it was you until after I got home and saw your post about a reset there.

 

They had me drop my empty in the lot so technically it’s a preload but i might as well have just kept it and backed it in a door. Apparently they haven’t finished with loading this trailer i attached to. Was hoping to get to Mt. Airy for the night but it’s looking like i’ll just have to settle for the rest area up the highway a ways. Oh well, that’s trucking. I’m not in a huge hurry anyway

 

Mt Airy has always been a good stop, but I am afraid that the geniuses at Pilot are trying to sabotage Aunt Bea's. Last three times I went there, they were out of a LOT of stuff. Seems that corporate won't let them order anything without specific approval.

 

Made it to the Dallas drop yard thanks to our buddy @BigR no pre plan after I unload in Garland but every trailer here at the drop yard is empty, so I bet I won’t be coming back here to snag something. My appt is at 10:00 so I’m gonna be keeping an eye on the traffic about 8. I see it very possible it could take me 2 hours to go 28 miles at that time of morning.

 

northbound 635 gets really jammed up during morning rush. I would advise leaving early

 

Thanks. Yea I kinda gauged it this morning to get an idea. Right now the commute is 28 minutes. This morning it’s was 47.

 

i saw one of those brand new Volvo trucks with that weird camo stuff on it going the other way on the freeway here in NC earlier. Not sure what i think about the new design
