Semi Driver intentionally kills local police officers.....

Apparently he has previously been convicted of multiple serious felonies. If you read the timeline near the end of the article, he was out committing more serious felonies while he should have been in prison if he had served even half time the time he was sentenced to. I'm tired of the crazies, and I'm even more tired of the system that can't keep them locked up after they've been convicted multiple times.

I’m trying to figure out the first sentences in the story. How someone was standing on the back of semi trailer as it was moving north. Did the perp hi jack truck hollywood style by climbing in from the outside or was that the real driver or possibly chuck norris as his stunt double trying to get his truck back from perp who jumped in and started to drive off while driver was outside?

 

I'm surprised he was considered insurable - or hirable. Who TF thought it would be a good idea to put that guy behind the wheel of an 80,000 lb truck and turn him loose?!?

I was trying to figure this out, too. I surmise that Jayne was hitching a ride on the rear of a tractor's trailer, and at some point, hijacked the tractor, and the drove towards officers.

The failure of these reporters to learn correct terminology is rampant. It's like they have never left their apartment.
