I am not sure who's payroll I am on. My digital paystub comes from Wylie, my bank says the deposit comes from SPD, we're owned by the canucks, and my door sticker still says Daseke. As long as the check doesn't bounce and it isn't signed by sleepy Joe, I guess I am o.k. with whomever pays it.

Unload rescheduled for tomorrow morning, then....I am tentatively planned on one of my favorite loads (he says sarcastically) an elevator load out of Dallas going to San Diego for Tuesday. At least I am pulling a conestoga.

Speaking of my conestoga, one thing I don't care for about this type of conestoga trailer is that it's aluminum. When it's empty, it's got the typical aluminum arch and the tarp is tight. But once it's loaded, the arch flattens out, and the tarp loosens up...but it still beats tarping, so I won't #####

Having seen you driving once I must say you do resemble Andy Rooney .

Except the woolie bear eyebrows

I am a mix of Andy Rooney, Earl Pitts and Mad Max (from The Johnboy and Billy Big Show).

There is something wrong with me (other than the obvious). 2 am is my natural wake up time. Even when I don't need to. On a 34? Yep, 2 am my eyes pop open...this customer doesn't open their gates until 7 and don't start receiving until 8(and I am only 4 miles away)...2 am I am up just staring at the Sam-crappa. Even when I am pulling a normal flatbed with a tarp load, after a long hot load and tarp job, at 2 I am up.

    dwells40 and Bumper Thank this.
