I end up blocking intersections fairly often. I Also do a decent amount of town delivery of oversized equipment.
Some places I don’t have much patience for because I know the end result is going to be I have to be the bigger dick
Some I will wait a while.
I never wait long enough for f-tards behind me to start turning out and going around because if it’s busy once that starts you screwed.

I don't believe that people should have to change their speed or their direction on account of me, so I'll wait until it's clear and then I go. I would NEVER enter an intersection that I knew I couldn't clear.

There was one time I started to make my left turn and then had to stop and wait because traffic came up over the hill on my right. I got a ticket for failure to yield ROW on that one, because even though I was yielding ROW to traffic coming from the right I was also blocking traffic coming from the left - which just happened to be a county mounty and his new rookie trainee.

Thanks for the picture, it’s pretty clear now. One problem I have, however, is that in the drawing there is only one stop sign, while in reality there are 2 stop signs. I’m sure this is dishonest, and probably perjury to boot, how can we remedy the situation?

I will be home for a week starting late tomorrow. Although the missus has a lengthy honey do list, I'm pretty sure I will find time to draw a picture of that scenario.

I've had cars go around me when I was waiting to make a turn before. One time I was waiting for traffic to clear when I was at a stop sign, trying to make a left turn. Finally traffic cleared from both sides, and just as I started driving forward to make the turn, an idiot motorist in a car cut in front of me to make a right turn. I had to slam on the brakes. I missed hitting his car by inches. I was so mad. I was very tempted to smash into his car on purpose lol. The only problems were that I might have injured the passengers in the car if I did that, and it would have entailed a lot of red tape that would have delayed me further.

I would still try and avoid it even at 300 yards. You might be surprised at how far someone paying more attention to thier phone or infotainment center can travel before they actually look up at 50 or 55 mph.
Wednesday I watched someone texting for over 3 miles before they appeared to look more than 6 ft in front of the hood of thier car.

I would also think most roads that have 50 and 55 mph speed limits will allow for more options. The places I talk about that are off the beaten path are usually in 25 to 35 zones with very few exceptions that are out in the boonies and 40 to 45 zones.

This is the kind of thing a narcissist would say.

Narcissist or Psychopath—How Can You Tell?

"Here is a reminder of how narcissists view themselves. These specifics may seem breathtaking in their arrogance and haughtiness—but then, those are traits that define the narcissist:

    1. I love myself and I know you do, too. In fact, everyone does—I can’t imagine anyone that doesn’t.

    2. I have no need to apologize. You, however, must understand, accept, and tolerate me no matter what I do or say.

    3. I have few equals in this world, and so far, I have yet to meet one. I am the best ... (manager, businessman, lover, student, etc.).

    4. Most people don’t measure up. Without me to lead, others would flounder.

    5. I appreciate that there are rules and obligations, but those apply mostly to you, because I don’t have the time or the inclination to abide by them. Besides, rules are for the average person, and I am far above average.

    6. I hope you appreciate all that I am and everything that I have achieved for you—because I am wonderful and faultless.

    7. I do wish we could be equals, but we are not and never will be. I will remind you with unapologetic frequency that I am the smartest person in the room and how well I did in school, in business, as a parent, etc., and you must be grateful.

    8. I may seem arrogant and haughty, and that’s OK with me—I just don’t want to be seen as being like you.

    9. I expect you to be loyal to me at all times, no matter what I do; however, don’t expect me to be loyal to you in any way.

    10. I will criticize you, and I expect you to accept it, but if you criticize me, especially in public, I will come at you with rage. One more thing: I will never forget or forgive. I will pay you back one way or another—because I am a “wound collector.”

    11. I expect you to be interested in what I have achieved and in what I have to say. I, on the other hand, am not at all interested in you or in what you have achieved, so don’t expect much curiosity or interest from me about your life. I just don’t care.

    12. I am not manipulative; I just like to have things done my way, no matter how much it inconveniences others or how it makes them feel. I actually don’t care how others feel—feelings are for the weak.

    13. I expect gratitude at all times, for even the smallest things I do. As for you, I expect you to do as I demand.

    14. I only associate with the best people, and frankly, most of your friends don’t measure up.

    15. If you would just do what I say and obey, things would be better."
