Following The GPS On A Virginia Mountain Road

If he was a banjo player, he probably would have known better than to drive his truck on that road.

 

Luckily telling the authorities you were just following your GPS is 100% effective in avoiding tickets.

 

Guarantee it…..

 

I would bet that the driver was using a car GPS.

 

A truck route gps can make the same mistakes but my trusty common sense gps has never failed me. I started trucking about 5 or 6 years before gps was common but a car gps served me very well back when they first came along. Since googlemaps free on a smartphone came to be about 15 years ago that's always been the go to. I can't believe people actually spend hundreds of dollars for a truck specific gps. Never ever had one of those nor seen the need.

 

ah.... but you can read a map and can tell what roads not to take.

 

Have they ever tried that little satellite imaging thing on their phone? It's like oh this road. It's a friggin goat Trail!
