Nicely done, now that’s a proper OD load! I think our Heavy Haul team would have been hats off to you on that one.

You can say that again! They make them even larger called an “elephant” that weighs slightly over 60k. IMG_7020.jpeg
thank you. I wish we had a few more 55 ton trailers. I’d like a 45-55ton stretch to pull full time. 80% of what I do could be done with that type of trailer. The rest I don’t care for and it doesn’t pay that good anyway.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

It's a Forwarder for logging. Operator loads it while driving in the woods. Then goes to a landing and unloads. Trucks are then loaded at the landing. Very popular overseas. Being used more and more here

Picks the cut logs up,loads them in the bunk and carries them out of the woods so they can be stacked up.
    Here's a better Pic.

Man I’m kind of jealous of you guys and your long mini decks. Is that a 53 before the flip?

Oxbow and IH Truck Guy Thank this.

Yeah I bet a 53 is almost always a pain especially with the flip down. I think almost had them talked into 48’ 55 ton tandems plus two flips. With the flips up we would be cali legal and we would keep the 29’ well. They were only about 2000 pounds heavier then our 35 ton trailer that we abuse.

IH Truck Guy and Oxbow Thank this.
