That doesn't sound right. Thought it was about your lease purchase experience at Morehouse.

Dale thompson and bzinger Thank this.

Yeah it was but I don't remember the exact name of the thread ...ps Morehouse is phasing out the owner ops and isn't selling anymore trucks to the drivers .

Well let's just say that my needs from Morehouse changed and they're needs of me were not working for me either .
Yes there was some hard feelings on both sides when I left but I left with 2 weeks notice and did my job well till the end , conversely Morehouse paid me every dime I had coming at my departure and refunded my escrow in full .
I went to fcc for a year and i wasn't nuts about them nor were they with me so being tired of the BS with otr the road these days I sold the truck and tried a couple other things that didn't work out .
Ended up working for a farmer near me hauling grain in western iowa and eastern Nebraska and very happy .
Good memories at Morehouse but things have changed there and doubt I'd ever go back ..and sure as

They get your KW fixed, or put you in a different truck?

I gotta add that it's been years since I didn't dread going back to work and even look forward to it.
The people I deal with on the ag side of trucking are a world away from what I was accustomed to in the reefer biz .
I don't run a lot of interstates anymore and at least half my driving is on state and county roads so the hassles of dealing with drivers from other countries and fresh out of school newbies are few ...my fuel doesent from places that low grades block up fuel islands and I go home each night so no parking hassles .
Harvest is 2 weeks out so lots of hours and lines at elevators but I get paid by the hour .

I drive for an owner op outta Iowa. Running over the road with a hopper bottom. I thoroughly enjoy this kinda work over reefers an dry vans. I get home most weekends an make better money than when I pulled reefers an stayed gone all the time. An generally I feel like I really don't work all that hard.
