Yeah you say this but the problem is that if you don't put the blame on the person who caused the accident, you let them get away with it and not correcting their behavior. We already have enough crap drivers on the road, we do need to hold them accountable.

PLUS you may end up paying more out of pocket than you should.

I see your point. I guess I need to talk to a lawyer. I’m pretty sure I’m going to quit tomorrow. Unless I hear something that changes my mind. I was already working for free. And now this headache. Boy oh boy. I’ve “worked” for Western for 3 weeks and my net take home is minus over $700.

That’s before potential hospital bills and I guess lawyers.

You do you. I've never slept in the top bunk of a moving truck and don't have a massive superglued gash on my head. Lol

Why not stay and see if they pay the bills? If they don't cover costs you can file unemployment. Personally I wouldn't try to make it bigger than it is.

Well I’m not gonna do it again! Pretty sure I’m going to quit tomorrow. Unless they get me back in a truck right away.

I’m just gonna go drive Uber until another company gets back to me. I put in a lot of applications. I feel like this was a metaphor for all the headaches to come in the future for me if I stay here. Idk I’ll see what they say tomorrow and then I’ll decide.

Well in a month you would be solo. Then after 3, 6, 9, 12 months you would have more options. If you quit. You need to be screened again. Then orientation. That's 3 weeks, then trainer time, then solo. So minimum you adding 3 weeks. But they may be soured on you anyway. From being a reportable injury. (If it is reportable, there are qualifications for that)
