    Well, i hardly think a semi hauling lithium batteries having an accident is exactly "common"

    Even with the tesla employee wrecking their own tesla truck 2 months ago thats only 2 "semis + lithium batteries on fire" in the past year if memory serves.

    I read, lithium battery fires are highly overblown, and considering how many millions of them there are, fire risk is generally low. Those "fires" were due to circumstances most will never encounter. What is alarming, is IF there is a fire, lithium batteries are hard to extinguish.
