We have a LG front load washer and dryer set that has hummed along since 2005. Wife loves them and I'm very happy with them. Only issue I had was the impeller in the washer went 2 years ago, $32 and 1 hour later back working.

Havent gotten one up at the farm yet, wife has mentioned a number of times she’d like one again. Something about white clothes staying whiter if they dry in the sun? Oh, and they smell fresher. (unless you have a neighbor goat like @Oxbow) @ElmerFudpucker does have a point though about stiff towels that will file you down when you use em. No electric bill for that though!

I love clothes dried in the sun. My wife would boycott other wifely duties if I made her hang clothes on a line though.

I don’t know many left that i used too, one guy i went to school with, retired from navy and had a heart attack before 6 months being out.
Another retired as a chief, i don’t see him much anymore.
The first sgt and sgt major i know are both dead now, just the light bird still around.

His son died earlier this year in Romania.

Yes, I know. Another close friend passed a day ago. Just in the past month, I have lost a friend who was a retired Delta Airlines Capt. Another friend who used to drive for Swift years ago before they bought out MS Carriers. A school friend who owned a local business in my hometown. Every one of them was a result of M.I.'s. The retired pilot's baby brother told me he died from the "Widow Maker" and most likely was gone before his body hit the floor.

During my first cardiac catheterization procedure the Doctor found a buildup in my LAD artery and quickly stented it. Since then I have had 4 stents placed in my heart.

Folks this is serious business. I looked for a YouTube video of MLB Umpire John McSherry's Heart Attack almost 30 years ago but they have graphic content warnings.

Around the same time as McSherry's death, I lost a friend to a Heart Attack while he was making a delivery in White County Georgia. He was gone before the EMTs got there. This guy was a drinking buddy going back to the 1970s. His was also the "Widow Maker".

Pain in the left arm and in the upper chest is not something to pass off as gas or something minor. I want to keep all my TTR friends, even the ones that have me ignored:D for as long as possible!
