Id like to agree with all but the last statement... but the people treating their trucks like a brand new bmw/classic collectors item treat it by putting it in the garage, there simply is no market for a truck cover

My truck cover is called a shop. Just drive it in and it’s covered
blairandgretchen, bzinger, Arctic_fox and 1 other person Thank this. -
Trucks don't sit around long enough to justify being under a cover.
I don't really see there being a benefit either and the PITA factor is out of this world. Next to nobody is going to go through the hassle of putting a cover on their truck Friday night and then have to pull it off again Monday morning.RockinChair, OldeSkool, Sons Hero and 1 other person Thank this. -
Agreed, trucks don't sit enough. Anyone that has one worth covering has a shop/building for it.
@Elfakkak, gotta have some thick skin around here. I don't think you're spamming. No better place, and really no other place to ask these kinds of questions. If you were on here posting for sale ads as an unapproved vendor that's what I would consider spamming.
Good luck, but I don't think there's a market for truck covers.OldeSkool Thanks this. -
To put it bluntly, you will be hard pressed to design anything remotely useful for the trucking industry if you have no experience in that field.

I can't imagine trying to put one on a tractor, would take 2- 4 people and ladders
RockinChair, blairandgretchen, bzinger and 4 others Thank this. -
We use large Rv/bus covers but because of all the pointy things on trucks they do not last long in windy environments. You have to remove stacks, antennas and anything else like that that will cut thru the cover. I know guys that have used old flat bed tarps but over time they will damage chrome and paint due to not being able to breathe away trapped moisture and just their weight alone makes them impractical. Lots of seasonal trucks get covered even in barns down here. If you keep them in the dark out of the dust, dirt, moisture, and hot uv things last longer on them.
Arctic_fox, Numb and OldeSkool Thank this. -
If you really need a cover they make 40x40 or bigger tarps for like $100
OldeSkool and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Why would I EVER put a cover on my truck. I’ve owned it since 2003, and this has to b one of the stupidest things you could ever waste money on
