Yea, but not because my company wanted to. They HAD to. I was on workers comp leave. Had they fired me I could have sued the crap out of them.

But don't worry, a month into my 8 month rehab they gave my truck to another driver and most of its contents including my TV, microwave, half of my electric blower, all my bed linens, everything basically but one GPS and my dashcam. Oh yea, he happened to save my insulated jumpsuit I had for those really really cold mornings.

    Everything else was stolen.

Awesome, glad they made things even worse for no reason. May the CEO burn slow.

The game? Which part of it?

I hate the ease of entry, I hate thaty this isn't taken seriously - it is only a job to those who just want to make a buck or two and think they are special
I know it isn't but then you just don't seem to get the message of why.
Nope, not ripping into people who are asking for advice, I rip into people who want justificiation of their ideas which don't work. Which one are you?
I said bad drivers cost all of us money, this is about learning the skills and keeping out of trouble.
NO! I said it has nothing to do with my post or my position, I never said no one cares. It isn't important outside of being greatful to those who served to protect our country - those who were in combat. I came from a heavly military centric family, and not one of them would ever say what is said to people today, so it is my upbringing that it isn't important when it comes to some things, this is one of them.
Well, that's all good and well ... just ignore my comments, no one forced you to reply. But if you want to learn, listen to everyone, we all got something for you to learn to keep you out of trouble.

I feel your anger, but it’s not my fault. I’m just an easy target. But your anger is misplaced. The industry is built by design to be segregated. That is to keep everything confusing and expensive. The government doesn’t want rich truck drivers. They want whatever the oil companies want. And the only thing that matters, burn more oil. That’s it. People don’t matter. Companies don’t matter. Freight doesn’t matter.

there’s only one thing that matters.

burn as much oil as possible

    it’s not my fault

Then why does govt require higher mpg for vehicles every year?

Burn more oil is the one thing this govt is not in favor of.

In the United States, between 95,000 and 284,000 new semi-trucks are sold annually. In 2023, the total number of commercial trucks sold was 507,277.

Sales totaled 507,277 in 2023, up 7.6% from 2022. Sales of medium-duty trucks reached 240,525 in 2023, up 10.8% year over year. And heavy-duty truck sales totaled 266,752 in 2023, an increase of 5% from 2022.

there’s a million new semis put out every 4 years. Marginally increasing fuel economy just appeases the left enough for the oil to keep getting burned.

I was referring to auto CAFE standards which mandate vehicles every few years must get higher MPG, fleetwide, or get penalized lots of cash. The country would be better off if burning more oil was ou guide, but it is the opposite. The climate con & depopulation policies are being implemented for other reasons. The govt threw out oil leases at the start of this regime & Europe is further along the "de-carbonization" fairy tale.

The environment groups have far more sway with this regime than oil companies although both sides are happy to accept the money of oil companies. I'll stop here because this is getting political & I respect the moderators wishes.

Because the number of trucks on the road continues to rise, the gov't mandates better mileage because, as a fleet, we're burning more now than ever.
