I’m picking up in Jefferson WI tomorrow and apparently the trailers are in a different spot now? The address I have is 201 W Plymouth instead of up on Linden. Anyone been into the new place?

 

I had to get a fuel pump yesterday in Lincoln. When the truck was done he asked if I just wanted to go home since I’m off next week or if I wanted to make a round. Dummy me said I could make a round. Get to DeKalb for my drop and here I sit getting live unloaded because there aren’t any empties here and there weren’t any empties close. Oh well, I should still be home tomorrow night.

 

Apparently an XPO truck flipped on the highway between Solomon and Abilene on I-70 and ended up upside down in the ditch. How this got accomplished i have zero clue

 

I’ve never seen a set of doubles flat on their roof before.

 

Delivered my load of irrigation parts this morning in Deshler NE.

Headed to the Lincoln drop yard to drop my empty flat and headed over to Kawasaki to grab my trailer for Nashville.

Left Lincoln for Fremont as my truck was due for service and my trailer was one day out from being due as well. My truck has had some of the driving assist lights on for a few weeks (since the major rains in Kansas and Oklahoma this month). The shop tried to clear them at last service. No progress on today’s visit either. Shop says my truck needs to go to Omaha for a dealer appointment. Going to try to work that in on my way back up from home time.

 

if my driver assists went bye bye, the shop wouldn’t hear a peep from me…

The blindside monitor on my Peterbilt never worked, and it stayed that way because i never told the shop

 

Delivered to Nashville yesterday and picked up a load over in White Bluff that I dropped in the CB yard this afternoon.

The yard is absolutely packed and i’ve seen drivers park loaded trailers along the fence line because the middle is completely full. I’ll be dragging a trailer out of here in the morning going back down to Henry, TN. This’ll be my third load in a row to Tennessee, and my 3rd time going to Henry this month

I’m on recaps now with only 7 hours to drive tomorrow so i’ll see where i can get to. I’m not sure if i’ll be able to get to that rest area east of STL with that time so i might have to settle for that truck stop in Eolia off 61

 

Live a little and stay at the truck stop at Grand & Broadway in St. Louis. You’ll have time to kill and money to burn buddy, that’s a good place to do it.
