I hear creosote has a wonderful Smokey flavor.

You sir are not wrong the T-800 like the W9 has a much smaller cab and sleeper than a T680. But if you guys skimped on the storage options in your T680’s they may feel fairly similar with regards to storage.

Please don’t hold your breath on them being forced to make changes anytime soon…

Too much of an aftertaste, and if you smoke right afterwards, might have a serious case of heartburn :angry4:

If the government says fix it or be decertified, I bet they'd find the glitch in the code really fast

Much smaller cab yes, but I kind of liked the cozier cab. Honestly the only difference I saw was less space between the seats. I thought the t-800 had a plenty big sleeper. Especially once I added a shelf on the back wall, that held my printer, microwave, and two bins for my socks and underwear. Now my printer has to live on the front seat.

I liked the narrower cab on my old 680 better than this Volvo. I could reach anything in my cooler without leaning over very far. In this Volvo, if it's on the far side of the cooler, I almost have to unbuckle my seatbelt to reach it.

Do the new trucks have the big table behind the passenger or did they get cheap and delete it from the specs?

    kylefitzy Thanks this.

No more table. I was disappointed at first but honesty the folding tv tray/table takes its place nicely. And it folds up out of the way behind the passenger seat. I was constantly kicking the table at night in my first 680. I know lots of drivers were disappointed, the passenger seat also does not swivel.

I miss the coziness of the 589 and W9 too, the T680 I had came with the back wall cabinets which I really miss in the new Cascadia bodied Western Star. And the 680 had that cool swiveling table…that was nice as well.

The Volvo is very comfortable to me. I could drive it with no cramps, and little fatigue. If I were going back to driving for myself, I'd definitely get one.
