I’m pretty sure i’ve crossed scales a couple times a few hundred pounds over on drives or tandems and they’ve never looked twice at me. i also have never pulled a load that was over gross to my knowledge

Oregon will usually give you around a 1,000 lbs of leeway on an axle set unless your over gross.
