Any Flatbed Companies That Train and Have Larger Sleeper Area?

    I have a little over 2 years with clean DAC and no moving violations. I’d like to learn solo flatbed. But, I don’t want to drive one of the tractors with the smaller sleeper berth. Know any companies?

    What's your definition of small sleeper?

    Only one I can think of that has nicer/larger trucks is Keane Thummel. Most others are specced to accommodate the freight, not the driver so much.

    It doesn’t matter too much. I put all of my belongings in storage when I became a truck driver. It’s more a matter of where I don’t want to be on home time…maybe LA, Atlanta, Detroit, and such; or, maybe not in the middle of nowhere without shopping. I’d be fine in most places so long as I can sleep in my truck.

    I am curious, why is there a need for a larger sleeper area? Unless you're going to buy your own truck you're going to end up with a standard size sleeping area.

    Wonder if he's talking about these types of trucks that a couple flatbed companies have so they can haul more weight...

    Never been inside one but I'd imagine things are a lot more tight in the bunk area?
