….and the trailer I used for my Kawasaki load is a leaker. On our second try for a repair shop (the first one was apparently their tanker and flatbed repair location and was a bit of spiritual experience getting in and out). They are making noises about keeping it overnight.

    yes

i rode back with someone from Colorado and he said his truck was on its 3rd set of injectors at 320k

I’ve heard there’s a class action suit building against PACCAR for the numerous injector problems

i run 62 through CA and have never had any issues. That being said i’ve ran faster on occasion right by the CHP and they don’t look twice at me. In LA and other such places i just generally try to go with the flow of traffic. Like for example, no one goes 55 on 80/94 in Chicago. If you do, you’re just asking for trouble.

And to answer your second question, no not really

it seemed like it started with the new gen T680’s. my 579 was a ‘21 with a paccar motor and i never had injector problems, neither did any of our older KW’s to my knowledge

The EPA ‘21 engines that came out mid-21 are the ones with injector problems. The tips get plugged because of the junk bio fuel the government forces on us to subsidize the farmers. I’ve replaced 2 injectors and had the cleaning/software update done twice. All told in 350k miles my truck has been down less than two weeks for injector stuff.

The FCC guy may have had injector issues 3 times, but I doubt he got 3 full sets of injectors. For that to happen all 6 would have to fail after the cleaning.

Doing my all time favorite thing. Laundry at the truck stop. And of course there was no where to sit so i’ll have to make a few trips inside from my truck. And i parked at the back of the lot. Oh well, my fat ### could use the exercise

Fat? I thought you were like 7 feet tall. I have never seen a 7’ fat guy in my life. Ever.
