I run Midwest and I’m 3-3300 like clockwork in 5.5 days. I’m usually gone at 9am Monday and home mid day on Saturday. But I also live close to a lot of our outbound stuff. I’ll run like that only doing 34’s at home for a few weeks and then I’ll cut a round and take a 4-5 day weekend, or I’ll run for a couple months like that and take a week off. If you’re going to run regional it will cut your options and miles if you try and leave Monday and want to be home Friday night all the time.

When I accepted this load out of California going to Georgia I thought I had enough hours to get there by Friday. I screwed up and was going to be about five hours short of getting there, since Monday is a federal holiday I would have had to sit on it until Tuesday, after some back and forth with dispatch, they are going to let me drop it at the Dallas yard and keep moving. I hate miscalculating my hours, but it’s all going to work out.
