Is that the power only load you mentioned?
Dispatch said I was picking up a Boeing container and gave me an RGN trailer number, it that one of those tall cans you pick up out of Baltimore?

I figured you were getting the skin trailer I preloaded. There were two 15’ tall containers sitting on the yard. All chained down and ready to roll it looked like. They are going to the port on wando street N Charleston sc. I can give you the full run down once you get closer if you would like. It’s not to bad.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Just got a chance to download the permits thus far. (Haven't seen TN or SC) 14'11" high, 85' total length. This will be the tallest OD I've done. 2nd longest behind the Savannah Skin trailer. Heck of a load to start back on OD

It’s hit or miss on if you will have to go to driver services. The route should be pretty simple. At 15’ you’re not tall enough to really get into any lines or traffic lights. I hear the traffic lights a really loud if do happen to find a low one, that’s just what I have heard… -
Correction - I will look again in the morning, but a 14'11" x 85' load won't require escorts. Ga wants an 8" amber light on the rear corners of the load or an escort...not sure if our battery powered eagle-eye lights qualify for that requirement.Last edited: Jan 22, 2025

The back of the trailer. Make sure your trailer plate is right and you ga permit is signed. If they happen to be working they will usually check your permit.
in ga there’s no open or closed sign for the scales. Ignore the “truck may bypass” signs and pull in and around back. If the small scale is blocked off, they are closed. If it’s not coned off I pull on and hold my permit out the window. They will usually just tell you to have a nice day over the speaker.dwells40, ElmerFudpucker, hotrod1653 and 3 others Thank this. -

As far as the GA scales, on the weekend, I usually get a blank sign, but pulling in anyway, whether they're open or closed would give me a good excuse to do a load check.Last edited: Jan 23, 2025
