They are dropping quarterly wash pos for us owner operators so I guess the situation is getting worse for rates.

 

That’s not a good sign. Trimming is one thing, pinching is not good.

 

I wash mine weekly no matter what. Didn’t know quarterly wash PO’s were a thing.

 

Most days it goes pretty smooth. But if they get behind, holy cow it’s bad. Luckily that doesn’t happen often. My only gripe is when they took it over all the empties used to be on the west side. Lately you have to search for an empty on the east side.

 

I had to have the guard shack track an empty down. The line is also painfully slow. Took me 1.5 hours to get in and out. Otherwise, no other issues

 

I’ve been trying to go in about 7am when I can before the line starts. I’ve noticed if there’s only one person in the shack they’ll leave the outbound truck sitting until they go out to check the seal on the inbound.

Not sure what happened but I went in on a Thursday and it was DHL, came back the following Tuesday and it was the new company and everything was different.

 

Got a call from my roommate and the car he took to work has a flat tire. He's going to try and air it up to get home. From the sounds of it, it seems like a slow leak. Thankfully they are warrantied from the tire shop i go to so i won't have to pay for tire repair. Still sucks though

 

Right the freebie is going away
