The driver sent me pictures (attached) showing an oil leak from the ThermoKing reefer. The unit is running fine with no warning signs or error codes. I consulted a local mechanic and shared the pictures with him. He suggested that the issue could be either the reefer's fuel pump or an "O" ring. He provided an estimate of $3,400 for replacing the fuel pump, including labor.

    It's a 2021 ThermoKing Precedent S-600 model with 16K+ hours on it.

Does this diagnosis seem accurate, and is the quoted price reasonable for a fuel pump replacement?

A few times. I would clean it off first to make sure where the leak is. Any work/parts on a Precedent is expensive.

    062 Thanks this.

that generator that all the oil is leaking on is a pretty coin too, I swung a 210 on cheaper then replacing it

Then you sell that Precedent for parts. Those electric motors for the condenser & radiator were hard to find for a while.
