This certainly isn't a precision move but we are definitely scheduled into plants to avoid congestion and have available empty trailers and outbound loaded trailers ready as we come in .
A new chapter begins and a new home for the Morehouse/fcc orphans

I saw a Stan’s truck in the median near Atlantic, IA on I-80. Apparently they didn’t get the memo that there was a blizzard happening yesterday

I dam near ened up like him late Tuesday afternoon running empty from underwood ia plant back up to alpena sd plant .
Hit 90 west out of soiux falls and started jacknifeing several times between Salem and Mitchell...whiteouts , hard north wind pushing snow across an icey road ...going maybe 30 mph max when the trailer left the right lane going to the left shoulder ...it was intense! And you can bet your arse I happily parked it at Mitchell!
Proof god loves me .austinmike, Sons Hero, Magoo1968 and 15 others Thank this. -
A little over 90 days in at stans now and all positive except for the negatives , none of which would cause me to leave because they excell at what they do well.
1. They talk up being paid 30..00 an hour for any wait time including bad roads and random drug tests , however I have found they will come up with any excuse they can find to avoid paying out on it ....call management on it and won't get a call back.
2. Bad addresses and incomplete load info like load correct load numbers as well as the wrong names of businesses is an issue at times .
There is turnover here in the office , shop and among drivers but still a good place to work as far as equipment, pay and benefits if you live near a plant home 3 days every 7 days ...if not I'd pass unless ya like being out 2 to 3 weeks and operating in extreme winter weather in an area you don't live near and you better like to work !
That wait pay from what I've figured out only applys if the roads are closed .austinmike, MACK E-6, Lonesome and 7 others Thank this. -

How are things going with them? Good still?
You're running a lot of weekly miles with them, didn't you say when you were at FCC you were wanting less miles to take it easy on yourself? If I remembered that right, are you getting burned out running your 3k miles every week?bzinger and Dale thompson Thank this. -
It helps that I'm home every 6 to 7 days with a full 3 days off .
I don't know why but I have noticed they do have a little turnover here but I'm well aware that I'll never find a driving job near omaha with the money, benefits, predictable routes and home time ....serving dedicated customers that I have at stans .
Plus it's almost all drop and hook so I'm not eating up my day sitting in docks every day .
Not burned out and I think lazy or wore out would be a better choice of words lol....making way more money than I need to and could go piss away a paycheck every month at the casino and not miss it , but I don't gamble lol.
Just can't find a job around here that has full benefits and will let me be lazy.BeHereNow97, Speed_Drums, BoostedTeg and 10 others Thank this. -
I was going to honk or stick my arm out window and wave hut thought you might think I was being disrespectful so didn't do it. Nice clean Pete.1951 ford, austinmike, Suspect Zero and 3 others Thank this.
