Ok, that is one complaint. But I only go home once a month. So it’s not like I’m flip flopping constantly.

First time in a long time that i’m doing an 8/2 split instead of 2/8 split. This’ll allow me to get thru Dallas before morning rush hour, then either wait at the receiver or at the yard for dispatch to come in and traffic to clear up from said morning rush hour

That stuff is above my pay grade. I understand I’m on MWR but also when I leased on I was told that if you need a break let us know and we can run you out somewhere else for the week. I went to Montana once last April. Over the time since then I’ve asked 3 times to go out west to get out of here for a week and have been shot down each time. I asked a couple weeks ago and then again yesterday. The response yesterday makes it seem clear I shouldn’t ask again for a while.

It’s been quite awhile since i’ve had to back in from the street somewhere. Thankfully this road is pretty deserted. Almost made it in one shot without having to pull up

That's kind of ridiculous. Hopefully, they got low marks on the scorecard. At least it wasn't back in from the street and downhill into a covered dock or inside.

nah this was actually a piece of cake. Of course the lack of any sort of traffic also helps lol

Alright..... finally got back into my normal truck. KW needed some injectors...big surprise.... if it wasn't for that POS MX13, this would be #### good truck, for what it is. The feel of the truck is FAR more solid than the newer Cascadias, runs a lot quieter, and the seat, even though the cushion is a bit firm, is far more comfortable overall. I can do 5 or 6 hours at a stretch and feel decent in the T680.... the Cascadia seat makes my legs and back SCREAM after about 3 hours.

Being OTR, I have run mainly NE or MO to west coast for the last 4 months. I did get one trip to Savannah, GA from NE and a few TN or MO loads. But that was as far East as I had gone here. But this weekend I actually got a CT load.

Delivered a load of dog food to Columbia SC today, and they took away my Sumter preplan. Going in tomorrow to piedmont for a preloaded trailer that goes to Roberts WI. Supposed to be a nice light load though.

I checked, I haven’t run west of Nebraska since December 2nd FWIW. Been mostly bouncing between the Midwest and the Southeast with a little Northeast every once in a while for variety.
