I'm pretty sure I'm doing all the right and necessary steps, but, I think one of my pins is stopping them from going in so I can slide because it's hugging the frame.
Trailers been sitting for like 3 months, probably a lot of rust as well.
I am loaded already.

I don't have any experience with that specific trailer, but often you can rock the trailer a bit (with the brakes on) to free it up. Don't get carried away and drag the trailer around the yard, just rock it a bit. You can also try spraying it with a penetrant like PB Blaster and let it sit for a few minutes before rocking it.

Open deck Some trailers don't like to move when loaded. Others will.
I had one where the axle wouldn't budge. It was 12 years old lots of rust. Tandims allways stayed closed.FullMetalJacket and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
WD-40.....&/or "PB Blaster"....can both quickly become some of a trucker's best friends....
