Haven’t been to J&C in Wilmer in a long time. Was paying more attention to the customers building and what it said on it than in front of me and may have ran the stop sign right there. I called safety, admitted my sins, and begged for forgiveness. Thankfully i was spared

it’s a lot better of a program than what Prime, Swift, or other such carriers have. A lot of leases here wouldn’t be successful if that was the case

Like I said I hope it works out for you. If I was your age and zero bills I’d move out of Salina and move down to the Topeka or Lawrence area and get on with Walmart in Ottawa. Move up in the ranks with them and make some real money with lots of time off.

Runningman successfully completed a lease purchase over there and has been highly successful as an owner operator… Not everybody is the same way, and you seemed to lump everybody into one group…

I’m not lumping him into any group nor do I care to argue with you. He’s mentioned working for Walmart before and I just made a suggestion but if the lease thing works for him more power to him.

    Speedy356 and ElmerFudpucker Thank this.

If I was going to work out of Ottawa I’d be looking to live anywhere except Topeka and Lawrence. But that’s just me and I like cheap housing. I loved all the years I lived in Western Montana but I left because I refuse to have that much of my income going to live somewhere.

    motocross25 and ElmerFudpucker Thank this.

The only reason I mentioned that is it’s close enough for their hiring radius. He’s also mentioned LTL work in another thread but would have to live closer to a bigger city for that to work also. I know the success that runningman and others have had with leases. But for every five with runningmans history there are fifty more that are broke in two years. Davis seems like a smart kid so I hope it works for him.

    I’ll give you $250 for it… ;-)

(Just kidding… ya, I hate cell phone companies and the games they play. I just buy mine outright and then ignore all the fine print. Costs more but I’m free to leave any dang time I want.)

    Friend and Knucklehead Thank this.

I looked at it a bit but the salesperson wasn’t fond of the idea of using it in a truck.

I’m seriously looking at switching from Verizon to T-Mobile at some point.
