I'd have to guess that the majority of big game here historically has been killed by a 30.06, 30/30, or .270, but I'm not an expert. Maybe throw in a .308 too.

Have this in .270. My dad has it in .270 and 308. I’m a big fan of both for hunting out here in the west.

 

Some people dont understand the 14 hour limit. Last time my dad had to log was paper logs when you could do 8 hours off.
Told him I’m out of time 80 miles away.. he’s like, you got 14 hours!! I’m like yeah, started at 0430. Shut down 1930, had to split in order to make it this far, or I’d be stuck around Charleston, MO instead of Mr Ts at Mo/AR line..
