You do you but I think you'll be doing yourself a big disservice if you leave SNI before you've got that first year on the books, at a minimum. Weren't you in some financial distress when you came into this job? I can't imagine you've cleaned that up well enough to be good and stable for a job change. Job changes cost a lot of money. You're looking at a month of really low paychecks between the two if not more.

Keep your head down and put in the time. Or you're gonna end up on that revolving door never satisfied with the job and a job history that won't do you any favors getting into a really good one. Teaming with a complete stranger aint gonna end well. Taking the summer off, well, you basically making yourself un-hireable probably have to go thru another cdl churn mill school to get back into the driver's seat.

    Is that 90 cpm split?
How does the pay structure work?

So the drivers split 90 cpm for all miles the truck runs. That's a moneymaker for both drivers.

It's a good way to die. Or make a lot of money.

It’s 90 cents to the truck for all miles split. Should run about 5555 miles per week give or take 500. I never said it’s the best job out there. But it pays. Should take home close to 2000. I hope whoever they pair me with doesn’t flip it. I just told my boss to kick rocks… metaphorically. He didn’t even bother getting back to me today.

I put in a 2 weeks notice so I should be eligible to come back to Schneider if the opportunity ever arises and my Dollar General boss got back to me again today and said there’s definitely a spot for me right now if I want it.

Hopefully you've already got that team job in the bag and ready to start orientation now. Because if you're just now putting in an application, well, good luck because not every job posting these days is a real job. Never quit a job before you've already got the next one in hand. Knowing about something posted somewhere that you can put an app in on means you have nothing lined up ready to go.
