They're claiming they did this because the shipper still hadn't given them a firm appointment (or window) to pick up, so they're trying to keep me moving. Maybe I am just being irritable because I was only able to catch a few short naps yesterday and then drove 655 miles.

That was gonna be the next thing I was gonna ask on your pre-plan was the appointment times all zeros? As if that’s the case they did not have a delivery appointment sent yet for probably because the shipper wasn’t firm on the appointment for them yet either if there’s ever a free plan with all zeros for the time, that means there’s no appointment time set yet for itFriend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 1 other person Thank this.

They only told me about being planned on it because they were waiting for the appointment confirmation (shipper) before sending it to me. I never actually saw any info, but even Deland could see it on me in the system.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this.

Yeah, don't trust a "we have you on it" until you actually accept a preplan. I've almost never had them follow through. Its not necessarily Lincolns fault, we've all dealt with customers that don't have their stuff together
Issue is when Lincoln doesn't actually communicate to the drivers.

After what @drvrtech77 went thru this weekend with a Sacramento load, it isn't a sure thing even if you do accept it. Lincoln is gonna do what ever they feel like doing and if we don't like it, we're free to leave and they'll put another warm butt in the seat next orientation. We're the pee-ons of the company, totally replaceable. This whole propaganda about us being "their greatest asset" is crap because if they put how they really feel on the side of the trailer then nobody would want to work here.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 1 other person Thank this.

I've had loads i was dispatched on taken off. Usually my asset manager let's me know what's going on at least though. But yeah, its about making the company and shareholders a profit, you and I are just a side effect of thatFriend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 1 other person Thank this.

You are their most valuable resource, and the sign says their most valuable resource sits.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 1 other person Thank this.

He knew darn well what he was getting into going back a third time to a mega carrier that doesn't even spec a right-side side box. You know the definition of insanity, his picture is beside it in Webster's Dictionary.

in some ways it kind of goes on both sides. Yes, they should have told him they were going to pull it but at the same time when there’s no appointment time set on it and they’re waiting on a customer to confirm it then he should have expected something possibly would change It does happen from time to time, but yes, the communication from the operation side certainly could improveFriend, hope not dumb twucker and Knucklehead Thank this.

It looks to me like they’re just tired of him fussing with dispatch and starving him out so he’ll quit again….If he moves to another turd mega he’ll have the same issues, plus probably still be driving another Freightliner.
