I kinda don't blame her. I bet the drivers of those trucks don't drink their early morning coffee with their pinkies out, or take extra care with their extra rubbish. Just saying.

Guess that'll solve the lack of parking situation.RockinChair, Chinatown, broke down plumber and 2 others Thank this. -
It doesn’t help that the TA downtown closed a couple of years ago. The remaining truck stops around the Nashville metro area were already overflowing with trucks looking for parking.

I wonder what that council woman is gonna do about all the unsightly cars parked on the street around city hall?
I'm sure the city passed some sort of tax to build a multi-million dollar parking garage for city hall employees to park in, to solve that problem... and bought a nice street sweeper thingy to keep all the trash swept up.
I wonder what she's doing about all the unsightly homeless encampments on the streets?
I'm sure the city has passed some sort of tax to send free food trucks and soup kitchens out to feed them and put a street sweeper out there to clean up all the trash, pee, poop, needles etc....
We gotta get them unsightly trucks outta here!!RockinChair, Lennythedriver, Flat Earth Trucker and 4 others Thank this. -
Welcome to Nashville, Tennessee
In 2025, the Point-in-Time Count in Nashville showed 2,180 peopleexperiencing homelessness, including those in shelters and those living unsheltered. This number represents a 4% increase compared to the previous year and is slightly above the city's average over the past nine years, according to WPLN News. While Nashville's increase is below the national average, the city is still grappling with the challenges of homelessness.Grumppy, broke down plumber, Flat Earth Trucker and 5 others Thank this. -
