Woke up the other day and thought I was late for work.......and then I remembered I was retired and then went back to sleep. Slept pretty good too.

Loaded a load for SW Missouri tomorrow, I drop it in morning, reload to SW Arkansas and try and be home before dark tomorrow night.
Sure different trying to do it ALL by yourself.

I am always taken back to a story they told us in the PI about the Negrito natives. They loved the Americans and hated the Japanese. During the war, there was a land line from Clark to Manilla. The Negritos' would tip into the Japanese camps, catch a group of troops sleeping, and quietly cut the throats.. of every other troop sleeping... Come morning, much consternation. Also, that landline was never damaged....

 

It was good to see that the North Powder Cafe is still open.
They remodeled and have a full bar now as well! Food was good.

 

Gonna be iffy. Child molester or advertised mid tranny might generate enough disgust. Tho from his appearance, he will prolly come on as superior, and the he goose of his wing will settle it. May be pretty enough to be attractive to gain protection.

 

They did not have a bar back when you were broke down nearby?

 

That few seconds of awakening when there is no obligations to fulfill, is frightening.
But then I gotta get up, use bathroom, treat my eyes, dress and shoe to get to breakfast at 7:30..

Back last August; living in the Manor (only lunch provided), I slept in till 7, dozed till about 8, got up and dressed. Either went down to Jacks for breakfast and coffee or whacked up bacon and eggs/waffle/hot cakes here. Miss my stove and full fridge.

 

Thought you had a trip/temp out also. He just keep going, one and done, on home time, what?
You did not not put him on lease purchase with the Farmall surely?

 

Sitting at a terminal. Again. Never was into startrek when I was younger, but for some reason I kinda don’t want to stop watching it. I don’t know why. And the music is kinda nice. Sumting is Wong with me I’m sure of it. I missed watching tv, but now it’s kinda concerning me.

 

Like the way the Drivers park away from the other Vehicles to avoid Door Dings
