If I'm not mistaken, it's based off a Lincoln MKT (same platform as the Ford Explorer) and successor to the Town Car hearse

Got held up a little bit before I got home. One of the roof bows on my empty I was picking up from BD was pretzeled so I had to run to a shop in Indy to get it changed. Made it home a couple hours later than I was hoping for. I will have to run out to the truck sometime this weekend and clean the trailer since I didn’t get to it today.
I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

I used to own a 1947 Cadillac Miller (as in the beer) hearse. Beautiful car. Just needed a mechanic, which I am not.

Quick catchup while waiting on the wife to pick me up.

Delivered my pivot to a field in americus Georgia this morning. This afternoon picked up Kawasaki racks from Hoschton Georgia going back up to Lincoln for next Tuesday or Wednesday. Time to head to the couch!

Dropped at Wally World in Plainview. Deadheading 6 hours over to Temple, TX for my next load. Not the most ideal but freight, or rather lack thereof, out here in the boonies is probably hard to come by, especially this close to the 4th.

My only consolations are that A) it's a preloaded trailer B) it's Styrofoam containers that weigh all of 7-8k lbs and C) it goes to the greater Kansas City area but it doesn't have to be there until next week, which means I can basically pick up the load and head straight home with it

it is. Not ready until 8 am tomorrow...or so says load info. Works for me since I would have nothing left on my clock if I pulled in there today

Still 100 miles away from shipper. 560 miles from shipper to parking spot in town. Possible to do all that in 10.5 hours...theoretically at least. Looks like I'll be going 70 where possible tomorrow.

Worst case scenario, it's far from the end of the world if I can't quite make it home tomorrow as planned. There's plenty of places between Wichita and Salina to park if needed Screenshot_20250702_152426_Gallery.jpg
