Hi everyone,
I’m driving a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia with a DD15 engine and currently at 545,000 miles.
I’ve been dealing with a serious vibration issue that happens only at low RPMs. Here are the symptoms: • Right after a gear shift, the truck starts vibrating heavily until it passes around 1200 RPM. • If I apply more throttle and push it past that RPM, the vibration decreases noticeably. • The vibration is also very bad when the truck is in neutral —
Here’s what I’ve already done: • Replaced all tires •. Valve adjustment •. DPF Filters replaced • Completed a full alignment • Replaced kingpins • Replaced driveshaft • Inspected and replaced all related driveline components
Everything on the chassis and drive side has been checked and is in good shape. But the vibration still persists, and it’s becoming more and more frustrating.
Has anyone experienced this same issue with a DD15?
Any advice or shared experiences would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance
