The trainer I went out with kept saying, you can work here as long as you want. Must have said it six or seven times at least. I thought that was weird.

    77fib77 and Iamoverit Thank this.

"Back in the day", carriers looked at this stuff as 'cost of doing business'. Run 9 loads overweight instead of 10 legal loads - even if you get caught on one you've still saved more in operating costs than the fine. Same idea with maintenance issues or the HOS - carrier paid the fine and everyone went about their day.

It's not back in the day. This is a high risk, low reward play. It's like buying a $100 scratcher where the jackpot is $10.

He gave you the MC number but that's OK. I'm sure he's hoping you won't be able look him up.

It's not Eton either, it's Expedite Las Vegas Corp. Guess what they're OOS is 33 percent (well over the national average), have had their authority revoked numerous times, their insurance getting ready to be canceled and their OOS violations are numerous and major. Everything from bad steering shafts to inoperable brakes. Run, man...run!
