I'm not going to try to change anything, I'm just going to do my job properly regardless of what he thinks. If I have to walk away that's fine with me

This won’t end well, but it’s clear that you’re not capable of making good decisions. So Goodluck. You’ll be unemployable within 6 months to a year elsewhere, so I hope that container is comfy.

It's more likely that his safety score is low because of lazy drivers running the same routes every day past bored cops with nothing better to do than #### with working guys making barely more than minimum wage, than the alternative that he is purposely trying to trap drivers

That's why I quit Schneider within an hour of #### falling off their trailer. Home Depot didn't even bother double wrapping their pallet of mulch. Luckily the second strap I threw on kept the bags hanging and off the street. Really I couldn't have done anything differently to prevent that. And when I called it in, he wasn't surprised at all, said it happens all the time, asked me to stack it up and bring it back. I just laughed.

He might not want to fix anything. Try it for a few weeks and see.

I have worked at companies like that. Eventually got like 18 months of experience and got to a better carrier.

Lazy drivers running good equipment don’t get violations, lazy drivers running junk equipment do. If you lean on him to fix his junk you will be seen as a problem. He will find a way to get rid of you before he changes his business model. Then you will have 3 jobs in a short period of time and you will be less desirable in the eyes of the good companies that will eventually pay you the money you want.

My problem is I have 10 months and everyone wants that extra 2 months like anything is going to change, but I could go back to Schneider 2 months and then look elsewhere.

He doesn't have any truck or trailer payments, it's all paid for. Makes sense to me. Might not be the best for me as a driver but I'm not doing this for the money. I really wouldn't mind at all if I have to skip work for the day, I'd be happy about it actually. He has this contract for Vegas to SLC for 18 months, so that'd put me close to 3 years experience.
