Name of the company? 2k per week each week OTR is a pipe dream I think.

It’s a pipe dream if you work at swift Schneider or some other pos greedy company, a decent company with good dispatch and equipment it’s very doable. Those weren’t the greatest weeks either.

That looks like a 1099..which means you still have to pay all your taxes on that..

Is that a 1099 paybstub or W-2? Do you have insurance through the company? How many miles are you running weekly?

I and I do pay taxes every quarter. Show me w2 driver that clears anywhere close to 2k a week or 26.5k in 3 month like i did.
Majority of drivers these days are too comfortable and are perfectly fine doing otr for McDonald’s wage… Carries know that and take advantage of that…

I get my own insurance which is $150 a month. On the miles anywhere from 3000 to 3800. I’d never trade this job for anything else, newer teucks, low OOS rate, great pay, great quarterly benefits. No micromanagement, no forward facing camera, and I don’t slave for McDonalds wages.

It’s a 1099 because if you look at the figures there’s no tax coming out of that settlement sheet. Those numbers are really misleading if he’s trying to sit there and say he’s making a better living than everybody else

The OP started this thread because he is looking for a team driver and you guys have hijacked it with your W2 vs 1099 arguments. If you want to continue your back and forth, please start another thread that's not in the Employment section. All posts here have to be approved by staff and I, for one, am not approving any more of these posts.
