Clutch about to go out in ole red.
Got loaded and pushed it in and I felt a spring break inside.
Now it releases whenever it wants, even trying with pedal mashed to floor. Got the lil 158 mile load off, now to find a shop that will give me a ride home for a day or two til they replace it. I’m not doing that myself, be hung under truck if Jack falls and I’d be….

guess it’s about time, I have had the truck 5 years and never have put a clutch in it, dunno how long before that.

On the last manual truck I had, I put 350K on the original clutch, and 400K more on the replacement which was still good when they gave me my first 579.

this one still works halfway, I felt the spring break inside it, sometimes it’s all you can do to press it down. I finally got it unhooked, it’s bobtail out back, I’ll see about something maybe Monday. yoi can have pedal to floor and it’ll try to jump like it’s ready to go.

It's not good news. Are you getting a stent or is yours small?
