Crikey. See this bird house ? I built it several years ago. Supposed to be a screech owl box. But. No Screech owls have darkened its doorway. In years past the hated starlings would attempt to set up residence. So I installed that little door that I can open or close from the ground.
So this year I noticed not even tge hated starlings have tried to move in.
So I'm out tgere trimming tge top of that tree so it dosent get out of control.
And I see something stick its head up.
Can you tell what it is ? I couldn't believe it.

Close the door from the ground. Ladder up one sided and remove the box. Pass it down the ladder to a willing helper.
Instruct him to open the door, turn it upside down, and shake. You should be able to ID it for us. Post here ..........
