This is kot the norm there.. i’ve pulled out of there multiple times and I’ve only had one time where they were running behind. Otherwise, the other loads were already ready, and I went in and dropped the hook and left

It isn't who is the shipper is that is paying detention, it's Costco paying the bill, so that's why they have the same procedure here as they did at the place in Mira Loma. Don't go in until it's loaded so you can't pinpoint a start to detention.
As for the other stuff like temperature mismatches, that might be little stuff for your dispatcher, but it usually takes mine a while to get it corrected in the system. He may eventually get faster, but as of now, 15-20 minutes is the average wait to get any reply from mine.Friend, BeHereNow97, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this. -

#### happens time to time in this business. It’s just the nature of the industry… You gotta take the good with the bad

A lot of the crap I post about on here is only a part of what I deal with...and a lot of my rants are just venting because, unlike what I was lead to believe about changes here,(which were just b.s.), I don't see any significant positive changes, I only see the same old ####, different day. In fact, in many ways, they changed things for the worse. I don't expect perfection, I just don't need all the extra aggravation with every #### load having issues. Once in a while, yes, that's trucking, but 80% of the loads having a problem is just unacceptable, and it wasn't this bad the last time I was here.Last edited: Aug 15, 2025 at 9:21 AM
