depends who you are what your paid i was lower pay, grossing 3220 net more like i think 2800-2900 weekly when i ran hard but we had guys doing 5k-7k weekly but made much more then me. I will say that most those guys on something. After a few of those weeks, i had to stop dropped more realistic 1800-2000k weekly take home. Oil field is a different beast I never took anything never will not when i hold a CDL for others who dont care thats them they do them I do me i hold nothing against them 99% times they doing mostly sitting when they drive off thats when the accidents occur and the stuff they on normally they crash from similar crap old timers truckers used thats been removed due red tape bottom line better know the line not to cross in your head or you will go head first into something end your career.

While I understand I will work a lot of hours every week, I know I need by beauty sleep (around 7 hours). I’ve read of drivers who claim to only get 3-4 hours of sleep every night before being back at it again. There’s NO WAY I could do this, regardless of how much I’m being paid. I’d fall asleep at the wheel and wreck in less than a week of that. I think most companies are good about giving drivers time to sleep nowadays.
