Wishing you a quick and full recovery. Sometimes we men tend to be stubborn when it comes to our health.

Yes, you are! Hubby got sick a couple weeks ago. Said it was just a stomach bug. Nope. Not even close. Diverticulitis pouch had burst and sent all kinds of nastiness into his abdomen. When they went in, they “washed”his abdomen very well and still couldn’t get all the ick out, cut out the bad parts of his large intestine, and they also found a pretty long section of his small intestine that had “died” and had to remove it as well. Spent about a week in the hospital and is taking some pretty strong antibiotics. So now, he has a stoma and colostomy bag for at least the next 6 months and possibly forever. He’d been saying he “just didn’t feel well” for at least the last 8 months but wouldn’t tell me what exactly the issue was or let me schedule an appointment with a Gastro doctor for him. On top of DIL cancer, this, and the car accident we were in last Friday, plus my truck getting hit while I was parked at a truck stop a couple months ago, I’m ready for some better days.

Well i can say I've been officially pulled over for the first time. I had just left the house to pick up my roommate from Hutchinson and was a mile down the road when a county Sheriff’s deputy pulled me over. Apparently i had inadvertently drifted over the centerline briefly and being that it's a Saturday night, he probably wanted to make sure I wasn't driving drunk.

He was very nice and professional and gave me a warning. Whole traffic stop took like 5 minutes because I had all my ducks in a row

I had to take 40 hours off to make delivery Wednesday morning in Grandview, WA. Did the delivery, picked up and was on the road quick as I could. Got told Thursday that I probably wouldn't make the Friday delivery. Was told home was only 70 miles out of route and they would set the delivery for Monday. I was just home the week before I left for Omaha and then out to WA, so not real happy about sitting for another 50+ hours waiting to deliver and messing with my schedule for home time.

    Knucklehead Thanks this.
