We have been invaded and here is the proof!

Kinda tired of telling my story.

Im an immigrant CDL driver here, now a naturalized citizen - over 21 years experience in the USA.

Cost me $ and time to do it right. Never claimed any government assistance or benefits.

Owner Operator 11 years.

The trash that has infiltrated this industry, needs cleaned out.

There are clear rules. Follow them - or GTFO.

 

Also look at the STAR. REALID!

 

I am not sure what areas you drive but this (super majority white dominated industry is not the case. I see maybe 2-3 white people drive in a semi truck per 10 trucks every day I am out. I go to pretty much all the lower 48.

That’s very racist to form stereotypes - because stereotypes wouldn’t be stereotypes, if they were not based , in part at least - in fact.

 

Rules? Some rules are.....suggestions lol. Some rules are meant for safety and appropriate function. Others are moreso meant for control. Basically if you have money, you can come to the USA. If you're coming from poverty, starvation, and corruption, crummy for you. I applaud your journey, but not everyone who comes here is that fortunate. It's easy for us, who are more privileged than many foreigners, to say just follow the rules. Not everyone has the same resources. I guess the thing that is bothersome to me......I do not believe that one person on this forum would follow the rules if the tables were turned. The survival instinct takes over, take a chance, take care of your loved ones, and if you're able to succeed, worry about consequences later. We all want to provide for our loved ones and will stop at nothing to do it, and for many of those folks, the risk is worth the reward and I can applaud that also.

The carrier should have had a slight clue when during the interview the new driver used a translator app or an interpreter, just sayin...

 

And the consequences are exactly what’s happening.

You think @blairandgretchen has found success because he is white. You say it’s easier for us that are privileged. Exactly who is us? Are you an immigrant?

Immigration process has changed over the course of 249 years. That process must be followed. Being new, seeking asylum whatever doesn’t earn you special privileges. Outward appearance doesn’t earn privileges. If a guy from New Zealand can go through the process properly then by God so can the rest or face the consequences
