Freak Accident On I-30 In Texarkana

I came by there going westbound not long after it happened. Thanks for posting this, now I know what the heck happened!

 

Imagine being the dude in the kenworth. That is some straight up final destintion ####.

 

"A dump truck with a raised bed went through a construction zone and “somehow snagged” a utility wire stretched across I-30."

Not really a "freak accident" when you are cruising down the road with a raised bed.

Glad no one was injured...or worse.

 

Imagine what the call to safety was like. Driver: "Boss, I was hit by a power pole", Boss: "you mean you hit a power pole?", Driver: "no, I was driving down the road and this power pole and power line came out of nowhere and hit me",

 

First thing first : fresh underwear

 

The way the trip wire cut through the trailer is fascinating. You'd think it would have just broke.

 

I was just down that stretch Monday morning delivering to Saputo
