Just got back to the yard. Will pull out tomorrow morning on the ACT to Clayton turn and then swing over to Richmond again for another load to Olathe. Will probably read a bit before going to sleep. It's after dark but the APU takes a little bit to cool down a 95 degree sleeper

This white paint still cleans up pretty decent despite it being 30 years old. It has to be just a single stage paint with no clearcoat.

Talked to a guy at a local tire shop and he told me my tires still have some life left in them. 6 to 7/32 on all 4. That's a good thing because all terrain tires aren't cheap, even just for 16 inch wheels. It did cost $70 to fill up which wasn't fun but not too bad considering i pumped 28 gallons of gas Screenshot_20251004_204307_Gallery.jpg

I sent to dispatch that if we aren't doing drop and hooks in Wilmer anymore, I'd like the appointment as early as possible. Last 3 times I've been there it was drop and hooks. This is what I got back.

They probably don't get enough loads to justify drop n hooks there or maybe another carrier got the contract for it.
Another note there's a big difference in this company truck vs my own Freightliner the Technology on this truck for one sucks like a demon pulling your life away very fatiguing. Another thing about as rough as a bull driving down the road. The lwb Freightliner I had with a 13k steer rode light-years better than this truck it wears me out and the seat hurts my back. I'll be happy whenever I secure another truck.

I was under the impression that J&C was all live loads/unloads but i hadn't been there in forever. It took me longer to drop and hook there than it did to offload my trailer in Ohio
